Contemporary dancer, movement and somatic practices researcher. For the last nine years Paulina has developed her artistic career working with different choreographers and participating in collaborations in the field of contemporary dance, improvisation and instant composition mainly in the Netherlands, also in Chile, Spain, Germany and France. Paulina was born and raised in Temuco, south of Chile. She started her career as a classical dancer. After completing her last specialisation program in Havana, Cuba, she joined the National Ballet of Ecuador, where she danced classical repertoire (Quito 2008 - 2010). She decided to change to contemporary dance, and she moved to The Netherlands to follow the Bachelor in Dance Program at Codarts (Rotterdam 2010-2012).

Her artistic interest today, runs towards somatic movement. Social as well as sensitive issues which she can relate to as a human being and bring light to them as a performer.

Paulina met Florence Augendre during the C de la B company workshops in Ghent in 2016. There she discovered her somatic approach to Fasciapulsology applied to movement. Since then Paulina has continued to study Florence's work regularly and has been acquiring the foundations of this philosophical, physiological and ethical practice of body tissue and global being.
